This project was certainly something different for the team, having to swap the van out for a boat!
The holiday home, located at Russell Heads, is accessible only by boat and was in need to some electrical TLC. The coastal conditions had caused corrosion to all the fans and most of the light fittings over time, making the home almost unusable in summer weather.
The team put together an electrical plan to not only rewire the house, but add a split system air conditioner to the main bedroom, replace old rusted fans with plastic coastal rated fans and replace all the lighting throughout. We also decided no holiday home is complete without festoon lighting! The team installed festoon lighting to the gangway and patio, adding that holiday vibe to the property. Electronic pest control was installed to prevent future vermin damage to wiring.
